Video StreamingAs the internet rose in popularity, uptake and bandwidth the overall technology improved
and essentially costs came down. Now people were able to offer video streaming on their websites
and today it is becoming very mainstream. Just look at the advent of
sites like YouTube, where Video Streaming is the main focus. This was seen as very cutting edge for a while. Eventually, however, like all technological advancements, improvements came along and offered even more.
The adult industry soon got on board, and the likes of RedTube and YouP*rn
soon followed the YouTube model by for a unique, older audience. While copyright and rip-offs are proving a problem, the up-take and
increased advertising dollars are allowing companies to 'hand-edit' their
services ensuring quality control is always in place - enforced by real
people who review every aspect of the the video being stored or displayed.
Video streaming has arrived and things are set to get even better, quality
will continue to improve through compression techniques and as bandwidth
grows around the world - everyone will get access to clearer faster
streaming video. Comments

Just look at the video effects in the original Star Wars Movies. The evolution of video is amazing, the technology on offer now allows anyone to do pretty much anything on a shoestring budget, allowing the creation of powerful home video and streaming setups.

Free software, plenty of tools and heaps of free online video hosting arenas make it a playground for video or movie buffs wanting to do the next Star Wars type film! Good Luck! 12th June 2008 - 5:17pm
I recently saw the Hollywood Blockbuster movie / video Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I was pretty disappointed. Very poor plot line, didn't eventuate to anything exciting. Only good part was that Hawaii girl and how hot she was. Awesome eyes, otherwise a poorly thoughtout so-called Hollywood blockbuster in my eyes. (Should have stayed home and watched a video)

One of my favourite videos was Dances With Wolves. Forget the streaming stuff, Kevin Costner was brilliant in that epic film. His integration with the indians and straying from the USA / American Cowboys was tops. Hey and what about 'two soxs' that cool wolf. Stands with a fist, kicking bear - plenty of cool names. Overall a great movie, and right up there with the best from Costner and the big studio houses.

Yes Yes, one of my top 5 movies and DVDs was the old technology, computer hacking movie called Sneakers. Featuring Robert Redford and Dan Ackroyd - it was a classic. Original computer hackers that forced their way into mainframes of corporates for money.

An original drama that paved the way for later computer movies such as Hackers, The Net and Firewall. Ahh yes, reach out to the nerd in us all. God bless the movies, Hollywood and DVDs. 8th July 2008 - 6:55am
The Back to the Future Video / DVD / Movie series would be my fav of all time. A true hollywood classic, Marty McFly played by Michael J. Fox is a classic. Even the characters in the movie, Skinner, Doc Brown and Biff. Really top quality characters that make the film and the whole trilogy perfect. Hill Valey in 1955 through to 2055 are just amazing. You've got the alternate 1985 with BiffCo and Biff winning on the horses and betting, very very cool.

Beats most other films hands down. 8th July 2008 - 11:44pm
I wanted to throw my video and favourite DVD movie into the mix here. The Shawshank Redemption, featuring Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins was a great major movie and film release. Framed for a crime he didn't commit, Andy Dufrain didn't murder his wife, yet got life in jail. Tunneling through the jail walls and crawling through the crap, amazing to see him escape to a remote island and live happily ever after. The prison guard and prison warden get hammered and andy lives happy ever after. Red died after he hung himself on the rafters I think?

Top Gun beats all others as the best video/dvd of all time. Well ahead of its time, the F18 hornets and other aircrafts in Top Gun were awesome. The aircraft carriers, everything - the soundtrack to topgun. It was brilliant when run on a cool home theatre system with big sound. Forget video streaming it, watch it in full high definition baby. Remastered from the original studio.

Some of the actors were huge before their time in this film as well. Guys like Tom Cruise, Anthony Robbins, Val Kilmer, Anthony Edwards (went on to ER on TV), Tom Skerrit (Also went on to TV sitcoms) Meg Ryan was in there, she went big. All huge cast members, making a great movie and awesome storyline ending. BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME IS TOP GUN 14th July 2008 - 8:39am
I disagree with you all, my favourite movie of all time is the 'Crying Game' it's like a famous movie and there are so many gay guys wanting to be in that position. Having female attributes and truly have the undivided love of a man thinking we are a woman.

My most favourite movie on DVD was called "The Final Winter" a movie about Rugby League in the 70's it was a tough film and featured great realistic scenes and typified the era in Australia. Locally suited, it will receive 5 stars from critics and is well worth the watch.
